I love this article, especially the last heading “Quit pronouncing everything dead”.
What has happened yet again, Google has made it more difficult to programatically track search rank. I wont go into the details of this article at SearchEngineLand, but rather point out that change has never stopped in the search marketing business. If things didnt change, there would be no search engine marketing business.
So SEOs are not dead, for the 8th time. (someone will surely declare it dead one more time)
Another point made as a footnote here; is that Search Rank Tracking has never been 100% accurate. Search Rank (of a website for a certain keyword) varies by where the bot (server) is located. There, I solved it for ya.
